Boutsen Design is Onboard Sailing Yacht CeFeA
Boutsen Design is proud to have been selected as the interior designer the majestic sailing yacht CeFeA, the flagship of the celebrated Solaris Yachts brand. Daniela Boutsen was even prouder to receive the “Best Design” at the Yacht Design & Innovation Awards, and the “Commendation Award” by the Judges at the Boat International’s World Superyachts Awards. The yacht was exhibited at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival as well as at the Monaco Yacht Show, the ultimate luxury rendezvous for the Superyacht international elite clientele.
At 111 feet in length, with an impressively large stern and the 45m ultra-high-performance rig, the yacht is a true racing machine. However, upon closer inspection the yacht’s comforts and vast spaces, usually only found on large motor yachts, become apparent. The owner’s quarters with two en-suite bathrooms are situated aft, with a full beam cabin leading to an immense beach area, granting the owner complete privacy and easy access to the water.
Moving forward, the yacht features two VIP suites with king size beds, a massive salon with a formal dining area, a further kid’s cabin and playroom and well dimensioned crew quarters. The deck is flush with a convertible dining area flowing into inviting lounging spaces stretching aft towards the owner’s beach area. A fresh and friendly, yet understated theme has been selected by the Boutsen Design team for this ocean-going yacht. The owner’s brief was to create an exclusive atmosphere but to keep things simple and in line with a true racing cruiser.
Boutsen Design worked hand in hand with Monaco based design studio MYT responsible for the design of the yacht; a relaxed feeling welcomes the guests as soon as they enter the yacht, inspiring an informal but elegant way of living on board. CeFeA has been photographed by star photographer Guillaume Plisson, and appeared on the cover pages of all the major Yachting publications immediately after her first presentation.
