The last couple of years have been the busiest on record for superyacht brokerage, according to several of the international brokerage houses. Plus, charter is also back on track to pre-Covid levels.
This is a great time to be promoting the Asia-Pacific region to the wider superyacht community, and this will be APSA’s focus going forward.
News this month includes the new provincial order issued by Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew on 25th June which confirms the easing of COVID measures for international arrivals, including visiting yachts, which comes into effect as of 1st July 2022.
The Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) in Hong Kong is expanding its services, and are welcoming three leading yacht service providers - Lodestone Yachts, Marine Service Asia and NextWave Yachting – all of whom are stationed at LYC's service yard and can provide yacht care, maintenance and yacht management services.
Tahiti Tourisme has launched its new corporate website: www.TahitiTourisme.org. This is a dedicated space that gathers together all the information concerning the organisation, as well as all the resources necessary to promote the Islands of Tahiti, and is aimed at both the local and international tourism industry.
Australia InDepth’s second episode is now online, and focuses on Australia as a ‘superyacht hub’, shining a light on the advanced marine infrastructure in Australia which is able to cater to the demands of large visiting vessels.
Finally, remember to ‘Save the Date’ in your calendar for Tuesday 27th September, when the legendary ‘APSA Superyacht Night’ will be held on the rooftop of the Novotel Hotel Monaco.
