Dörries Yachts Unveils the 70M Superyacht Concept Rise

Germany-based yacht builders Dörries Yachts has unveiled the renderings for a new 70-m that will no doubt appeal to clients who wants a unique yacht with ‘wellness’ at the heart of the design, but also with Northern European build quality, and without the need to wait years to start the build. The motor yacht concept combines elegance, innovation, and unrivalled luxury to create a sleek and sophisticated superyacht.

“The initial idea for Rise came about as we were having discussions with a number of brokers who told us they had clients in the market for a new 60-70m yacht, but the wait times were so long in all of Northern Europe to start construction, which was a point of frustration for them,” explained Henning Dörries, CEO of Dörries Yachts

Designed by Olesinski Design, Rise boasts sweeping lines from bow to aft with curved decks to create a seamless and elegant silhouette. “Every curve and every detail has been meticulously crafted to redefine the essence of a superyacht experience,” explained Dörries.Rise features a near vertical bow, contributing to her distinctive appearance and enhancing her overall aesthetics. She embodies a harmonious blend of strength and elegance with a masculine robust superstructure, complemented by her graceful curves. We began discussions with Justin Olesinski and agreed that we wanted to create something that centred around wellness, a focal point that we have seen a huge increase in in the market,” explained Dörries.

“Rise redefines the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces, through an abundance of strategically incorporated glass elements,” added Justin Olesinski, Managing Director of Olesinski Design. “The concept of Rise is simple. Provide a no compromise spa zone that has every luxury. After consulting with Coral Spa Consultants, Gym Marine, charter captains and hotel spa consultants, we decided to provide a complete spa experience.”

The yachts aft main deck plays host to an infinity pool, embedded within the surrounding deck to create a clean and modern design. The pool is enhanced with a glass viewing platform at sea level, visible from her extended swim platform. “Rise features a pool, spa bath, plunge pool, massage room and aesthetics salon, all within a dedicated spa zone. The crew’s well-being is also catered for with a clever layout that enables them to provide the ultimate service,” commented Justin Olesinski. Rise features an impressive 13.78-metre beam and accommodation for up to 12 guests, across a six-stateroom configuration.

Her master suite is situated forward on the upper deck and includes a private office and VIP dressing room. The owner’s suite also features an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, and a comfortable snug area and lobby for guests to use as a private retreat. The remaining guest staterooms onboard Rise are situated on the main deck and consist of five double suites, all with ensuite bathrooms.

Guests are able to easily move through Rise, thanks to the addition of an elevator, operating across her main, upper and bridge decks. Her crew accommodation is located on the lower deck, alongside her engine room and spacious garage, capable of accommodating a 10-metre tender, four Jet Skis and Seabobs, diving equipment and an inflatable six-metre Zodiac. The bridge deck of Rise includes a lounge bar area, with sumptuous sofas and an outdoor seating area for guests to top up their tans.

This deck also houses her Captain’s cabin and the wheelhouse, allowing for easy access. “The level of attention to detail and consideration for the owner’s and guest wellness experience was brought to life beautifully with Justin’s design. Our hope is that Rise will appeal to a client who wants a unique yacht with wellness at the heart of the design, but also with Northern European build quality; without the need to wait years in order to start the build,” concluded Henning Dörries.
