OCEA returns to MYS
Sketches of the tenth OCEA motor yacht will be on display at the OCEA Yachts Stand at Quai L'Hirondelle (QH18) at the Monaco Yacht Show 2021. OCEA yachts are custom-built, and construction of the 32.70m aluminium ocean-going vessel has started - this will be the first OCEA yacht with engines that meet the latest IMO Tier III environmental standards, allowing it to sail in Emissions Control Areas defined by the International Maritime Organization.
Visitors to the OCEA booth can see the improvements that have been made at the shipyard; in particular the new workshops built at the La Rochelle site, which, like the yard in Les Sables-d'Olonne, will be able to accommodate mega-yachts by summer 2022. Large screen displays at the OCEA Yachts stand will allow visitors to watch a film that celebrates our shipyard’s 30th anniversary, as well as all the 3D views of the different OCEA Commuter yachts and the designs imagined by OCEA Yachts.
A pioneer in aluminium shipbuilding and industrial construction, the OCEA yard was established in 1987, and along with four production sites located on the French Atlantic coast, delivers annually 15 to 25 vessels up to 90m long, including fast patrol boats, passenger vessels, environmental vessels and yachts.
