YPI expands Asia Team
We would like to announce the appointment of Zofia Guranova as Asia Charter/Sales Broker in YPI’s Hong Kong office. We have also recently appointed Zora Ge as Business Development Executive. These developments further consolidate YPI’s position as one of the top superyacht brokerage houses in Asia, enabling us to enhance the services we can offer to new and existing yachting clients in the region.
Zofia Guranova, Charter/ Sales Broker

Born in Slovakia, Zofia grew up fascinated by the Asian and Oriental worlds, and after completing a degree in Chinese Studies at university in the Czech Republic, moved to Beijing to study at the city’s Film Academy. She began her career as part of the launch team of Dreamboat Travel, one of the first European companies to offer luxury river cruises customised to the needs of Chinese clients. As a new experience for Chinese clientele, this gained significant attention throughout China, and over the next five years became very popular as a luxury holiday for high-end clients.
Zofia moved to Hong Kong in 2014 and in 2018, joined YPI as a charter/sales broker. Bringing the worlds of yachting in Europe and Asia together, Zofia works to find the best yacht solutions and create unparalleled experiences for Asia-based charter and brokerage clients. She is fluent in Chinese, English and Slovak and speaks some Italian and Indonesian.
Outside work, Zofia spends her time on the water around the shores of Hong Kong, diving, wakeboarding and competing on the French-Hong Kong dragon boat team.
Zora Ge, Business Development Executive
“Growing up in China and studying in France was the ideal combination of Chinese and Western cultures, giving me an invaluable insight into yachting culture and clients.”
Zora grew up in Shanghai, but a sense of adventure and the confidence she gained through 10 years of Taekwondo led her to Paris for her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Fluent in Chinese, English and French, with specialisms in International Trade and International Business Negotiations, she started a career in an industry that is unfamiliar to most Chinese people.
Zora joined us in May 2017 as assistant to the CEO, and soon progressed to Business Development Executive with a specific focus on the Chinese market. In addition to developing new partnerships and meeting new clients, she runs the Chinese social media platforms for YPI.
As part of the YPI Asia team, Zora is passionate about introducing the incredible experience of yachting to new clients. In her spare time, she enjoys sports and travelling. She loves the sea, outdoor life, spending time with friends and meeting new people.
