The 2023 Sydney Superyacht Captains’ Long Lunch welcomed 42 Captains and luminaries from the superyacht industry for a much-anticipated get-together to celebrate the end of a successful year. Sponsored by Rivergate Marina & Shipyard, Major Yacht Services and Sydney Superyacht Marina, the event was the opportunity for Captains, representatives from industry bodies and suppliers to meet in a social setting to catch up on issues and renew personal connections.

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), a global organisation representing the recreational marine industry with more than 100 members around the world, announced new research outlining a portfolio of technologies best positioned to continue to propel the industry toward decarbonisation.
The Superyacht Life Foundation – a non-profit dedicated to telling the positive stories of superyachting in order to both change public perceptions and grow the industry – has unveiled further details of a major new initiative called World Boating Day. Up until now, 15 superyacht builders and one marina have already pre-registered for the inaugural event, which will take place on the weekend of 25-26 May 2024.

Monaco Yacht Show and FLIBS were great opportunities for APSA to reconnect with the global superyacht community, and APSA is now at METSTRADE where thousands of industry professionals have descend for the ultimate B2B boating event, and there isn’t even a superyacht in sight! A number of APSA members are exhibiting at METSTRADE, and even more are visiting the show. Hundreds of thousands of boating enthusiasts and marine industry professionals from around the world, came together for the 52nd Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the largest in-water boat show in the world.
