Asia Pacific Superyachts in Monaco

Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) have built a strong network and a dedicated workforce of experienced yachting professionals who provide a superior level of service. Co-founder and General Manager, Gordon Fernandes, said, “There are recent positive changes in the region, with new cruising attractions in Asia. We’re proud to be the Platinum Sponsor of famed Asia-Pacific Superyachts Association’s ‘Asia Superyacht Night and it was exciting to meet so many APSA members and industry professionals during the event.”

Gordon Fernandes is a co-founder of Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) that was formed in 2008 along with Captains Charlie Dwyer and Scott Walker. Fernandes, co-founded the APS Phuket office with Tanyuta ‘Jojo’ Singhmanee and later founded APS Myanmar and remains General Manager of APS, overseeing its operations across its expansive regional network of representative offices that can be found in 15 Asian countries. APS had an unprecedented representation of staff from their regional offices and were able to share information on these dream destinations such as Andaman Islands, Borneo and Langkawi in Malaysia, Bali and Raja Ampat in Indonesia, Koh Samui and Phuket in Thailand, Cambodia, Maldives, Singapore, Seychelles and Sri Lanka.

A strong believer in sharing knowledge and information, Fernandes says, “It was important for us to have our team of APS representatives in Monaco to meet face-to-face with past and new clients and provide information to owners and captains directly about cruising destinations and new regulations. In addition, we were able to recommend custom itineraries uniquely crafted for these regions. More and more facilities are coming online in the Asia-Pacific region, and we will see more superyachts in the region in the future.”

As a well-regarded Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Superyacht Association with a positive history of working with superyachts for many years, Gordon’s upbeat and unflappable attitude is well-known throughout the superyacht industry. Gordon’s professional expertise represents the high level of care throughout the APS network of offices in welcoming superyachts from around the globe to the Asia-Pacific region. “We will continue to be actively involved in promoting Asia as the 3rd global superyacht cruising destination of choice”, says Gordon, “We’re keen to share information about these stunning Asia-Pacific cruising grounds, new marinas, and new shipyards. APS is working hard to invite more yachts to explore this region. The Asia Superyacht Night was a great opportunity to promote the Andaman Islands,  mainland India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives, Myanmar, and the Seychelles,
