Asia’s First Sanlorenzo Captains Workshop in Hong Kong

Sanlorenzo Asia is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural Captains Workshop in Hong Kong. The three-day event, which took place from 22 to 24 March 2023, offered an extensive program of training and knowledge sharing for captains and crews of Sanlorenzo and Bluegame yachts.

The Captains Workshop aims to provide a platform for captains and crews to enhance their skills, knowledge, and expertise in yacht operation and maintenance. Hosted at the Aberdeen Boat Club and on board three selected Sanlorenzo yachts, the event featured a series of workshops, seminars, and practical training sessions. These were delivered by a team from the Sanlorenzo Italy Service team, Sanlorenzo Asia service team and experienced instructors and industry experts from world’s leading equipment manufacturers including engine makers, generators, coating and structural, electronics and navigation and many more.

The curriculum of the workshop covers a wide range of topics, including navigation, safety, engineering, communication, and hospitality. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest industry standards and best practices, as well as to exchange ideas and experiences with their peers.

The Captains Workshop took place at the Aberdeen Boat Club in Hong Kong, with on board trainings on various systems on board Sanlorenzo SL96A, SX88 and BGX70 models. The event was by invitation only for all Sanlorenzo and Bluegame captains and crews and Simpson Marine’s Service and Yacht Management teams.
