Azimut|Benetti Presence at the Singapore Yacht Festival 2025

The Singapore Yachting Festival continues to be a key event for the industry in Asia, where the global yachting community comes together. Marco Valle the CEO of the Azimut|Benetti Group presented at the South East Asia Yachting Conference and said, “I can only reaffirm the importance of paying a visit to this strategic market. In light of today’s increasingly complex global landscape, the decision to invest in the growth of the Asian market proves to be more timely and essential than ever. It confirms the vision behind Azimut|Benetti Group’s long-standing strategy: to maintain a strong, well-balanced, and widely distributed presence across all geographies. My time in Singapore also reinforced just how diverse and nuanced the APAC region truly is. It underscored the importance of deepening our understanding of each individual country — China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and others — and of leveraging the strength of a local network of shipyard representatives and dealers.
For this occasion, in Singapore, the Benetti Lounge was created as a dedicated space for meaningful conversations with partners, clients, and stakeholders. Peter Mahony, General Manager, Asia, Benetti said, “It’s through these exchanges that we gain valuable insights into evolving client expectations and broader market dynamics. Asia remains a promising and dynamic region for yachting, and Singapore stands out as a strategic hub—bringing together a diverse, international network of owners, enthusiasts, and industry leaders. We’re proud to be part of this momentum.”
Fresh from its American debut, the Azimut Seadeck 7 arrived in the Asia-Pacific Region for its local debut at the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF). The shipyard is stepping up its local efforts with a development plan aimed at further strengthening the distribution network and services dedicated to the yacht owner community, which will be celebrated in spring in Tokyo with the first Azimut Asian Rendez-Vous.
“The Singapore Yachting Festival was the ideal stage for us to present the Seadeck 7, said Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut Chief Commercial Officer EMEA-APAC. “An expression of Azimut’s ability to propose new lifestyles on board, through innovative layouts and collaborations with internationally renowned designers. Our approach freshly reinterprets traditional canons, placing wellness, experience and the relationship between people on board at the centre. Asia is now one of the most dynamic areas on a global level: our owners in APAC demonstrate a strong bond with the brand’s values and a growing focus on proposals oriented towards greater sustainability. We are certain that this new model will be enthusiastically welcomed in a region where Azimut continues to strengthen its leadership by gaining new market shares.”
The first Seadeck 7 unit combines hybrid propulsion with the Volvo Penta IPS system, based on Volvo Penta’s revolutionary hybrid-electric technology. This innovation, combined with the extensive use of carbon fibre and the high-efficiency hull developed by NAMES together with the Azimut|Benetti Group R&D Department, allows an attentive owner to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 40% over an average year of use.
A central element in the design of the Seadeck Series models is the Fun Island: a reinterpretation of the aft cockpit conceived by Alberto Mancini that transforms this area into a terrace embracing the sea, eliminating any barrier with the surrounding environment to offer a wellness experience based on a deep connection with nature. Azimut also wanted to replicate this conscious approach in the choice of materials, opting for natural, recycled and recyclable materials also used for the interiors designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, who introduced a new language to the world of yachting with their project for Seadeck.
