Fema Marine Presents Two Major Refit Projects in Monaco

Fema Marine specialises in refit project management and equipment supply, and two of their recent major projects were on show in Monaco. They included the extensively refitted 72-metre Dunya superyacht Axioma, and the drydock works on the 82-metre Oceanco superyacht Alfa Nero.

Axioma underwent an extensive year-long refit at MB92 La Ciotat that covered structural modifications, mechanical overhauls and aesthetic upgrades. At the Martinique Shipyard, Fema Marine oversaw the drydock maintenance programme of Alfa Nero in close coordination with her builder, Oceanco. Originally delivered in 2007, the 2500 GT superyacht features exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and interior by Alberto Pinto. Alfa Nero can accommodate 12 guests across six staterooms, as well as 26 crew members including the captain.

Both projects reflect Fema Marine’s ability to manage the complexity of large yacht maintenance and the planning required to coordinate multiple systems, suppliers and stakeholders. From full-system overhauls to OEM-supervised recommissioning, the company’s role across Axioma and Alfa Nero demonstrates a consistent, detail-driven approach to technical project management in the refit and drydock sector.

Fema Marine, as the official owner of the Antigua & Barbuda Flag Authority, also delivers a world-class flag state experience for yacht owners and operators. Renowned for its international credibility, flexible regulations, and strong commercial advantages, this prestigious flag stands out on the global stage. As FEMA Marine Survey, Consultancy, and Management Company, the team of accredited surveyors and managers are also authorized to act on behalf of the Antigua and Barbuda Maritime Authority.
