Indies Trader are thrilled to announce a million-dollar investment in their beloved Beran Island. After successfully navigating the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Indies Trader are revving up the engines like a Formula 1 car leaving the pits, all set for an big comeback in the upcoming 2023/2024 water sports season.

So, for the big news: the newest member of the fleet, is a Hatteras 54 game fishing boat on its way to Beran Island. MD Martin Daly is preparing for its delivery in time for the 2023/2024 season. This impressive vessel will replace the former Indies Trader II and become the new Indies Trader "TOO". During the 23/24 surf season, it will be available on-site for all our guests to access, should they wish to do so. As an added treat, this boat will be part of our soon-to-be-released "All You Can Eat" package, ensuring a premium experience for every vistor

A few other activations underway including renewing the jetskis, upgrading the photovoltaic (PV) array, and installing a brand-new fortress battery bank and inverter system. These enhancements will elevate visitors stay on Beran Island and ensure the environmental impact and footprint is the smallest of any surf resort on the planet.

In addition Beron Island is introducing a fully functional 100% organic garden on the island, providing fresh vegetables for everyone to enjoy whenever possible. Given the island’s location having fresh greens on tap will be a huge bonus. There are also some exciting changes to the scheduling for Beran Island. Say goodbye to the hassle of overnight stays when traveling to and from the RMI. Thanks to the resumption of United Airlines' Monday to Monday flights, this has eliminated that inconvenience. Flights in and out of Majuro are more convenient, with flights arriving from Hawaii around 11:30 AM and departing back to Hawaii at approximately 7:40 PM. It's all about making the journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
