Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific Holds Sanlorenzo Elite Weekend in Phuket
Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific recently hosted its first edition of the Sanlorenzo Elite Weekend in the picturesque waters of Phuket, Thailand. Over two days, Sanlorenzo yacht owners from across Asia came together to celebrate the essence of luxury yachting, bespoke craftsmanship, and the bonds that unite the Sanlorenzo family. A notable attendance from Sanlorenzo’s Executive Chairman Massimo Perotti was a welcome surprise. The owners could exchange on a more personal level in a relaxing setting, creating new friendships.
The event began in style at the Kata Rocks Resort, where guests were greeted with a welcome breakfast, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Andaman Sea. Anchored in the bay, the elegant silhouettes of the Sanlorenzo yachts offered a stunning visual display while our owners enjoyed their breakfast spread.
After each guest had received a limited edition Sanlorenzo Borsalino Panama hat and eaten a leisurely breakfast, the convoy of Sanlorenzo yachts set sail for Koh Racha Yai. Known for its crystal-clear blue waters, Koh Racha Yai has been an almost exclusive paradise for divers for years. Here, the spirit of adventure took over as guests launched into an afternoon of water toys and ocean activities. Adding a touch of local charm, a luxury Thai longtail boat offered scenic rides and unique photo opportunities, capturing the fusion of modern yachting with traditional cultural elements.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the festivities moved ashore to the Racha Hotel. Guests were treated to a cocktail hour and an exquisite private dinner at Club Del Mar. The evening’s entertainment featured a live band, a traditional Thai dance performance reflecting myths and legends of Southern Thailand, and a mesmerising fire show, creating an atmosphere of celebration and cultural immersion.
On the final day, after a hearty breakfast, the convoy cruised towards a secluded private beach on Koh Yao Yai, where a champagne BBQ lunch awaited. Owners enjoyed another afternoon of relaxation and fun in this pristine natural setting, a fitting finale to a weekend dedicated to the Sanlorenzo lifestyle. The event concluded as the yachts returned to back to Phuket mainland, marking the end of a truly memorable experience.
