Singapore Yachting Festival 2025 Affirms Market Confidence

The Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) 2025, held at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove (10 to 13 April) showed Asia has a strong and vibrant yachting industry, and a growing superyacht community. The festival welcomed over 12,000 visitors and featured more than 100 participating brands, with over 20 companies making their festival debut. Singapore’s reputation as Southeast Asia’s yachting hub was reconfirmed with 70 yachts on display in-the-water, with 15 yachts being over 24 metres, along with 10 Asian premieres, and two global debuts.

Headlining the on-water display was the largest yacht at the festival, the magnificent powercat Charley 2, a 56m custom-designed support vessel showcasing the technical expertise of Echo Yachts a West Australian shipyard. Another superyacht built in the Asia-Pacific, was Song of Songs a beautiful 42.2m superyacht built by Heysea Yachts, located in mainland China. Presented at the show by Camper & Nicholsons this newly launched superyacht is available for luxury charter in Asian.

Also making its Asian debut was the Azimut Seadeck 7 by the Azimut|Benetti Group. The shipyard's success in the region has been demonstrated by the sales of yachts up to 40 meters and the Seadeck 7 is the first to combine hybrid propulsion with the Volvo Penta IPS system, based on Volvo Penta’s revolutionary hybrid-electric technology which aims to reduce emissions by up to 40%. Marco Valle the CEO of the Azimut|Benetti Group said, “I can only reaffirm the importance of paying a visit to this strategic market. In light of today’s increasingly complex global landscape, the decision to invest in the growth of the Asian market proves to be more timely and essential than ever.”

Simpson Marine, had one of the largest displays in the Festival, and its extensive fleet included Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, Axopar and Nautor Swan brands. The Sanlorenzo SL96A took centre stage with its innovative asymmetric layout and was displayed alongside the SD96 which is ideal yacht for longer passages and comfortable family cruising and the SX88 that combines performance and comfort in a contemporary package. The Bluegame fleet showcased the BGX73 and BGX60, both of which are distinctive yachts that challenge conventional yacht layouts. While the Axopar 45 XC is an innovative and easy to handle sports yacht that is capable of speeds exceeding 45 knots.

Ferretti Group attended the Festival in collaboration with their long-standing local partner, Hong Seh Yachting and presented the Asian premier of the wallywhy150. This innovative yacht did not disappoint with its 270-degree wrap-around view and expansive main-deck master cabin. The Ferretti Group hosted an exclusive Owners’ Night, where VIP guests had an exclusive opportunity to view the iconic Rivamara and the new Ferretti Yachts 780.

Gulf Craft’s fleet consisted of three models, the Nomad 65, Nomad 70, and Nomad 101 thereby showing the shipyards range, and potential to grow the range at both ends of the spectrum. The Nomad 101 is designed for long-range exploration with its 1,000NM cruising range it is well suited to cruising the Asia-Pacific region. This Festival this year shone a spotlight on sustainability and one of the shipyards leading the charge on environmentally conscious yachting is Sunreef Yachts with its Sunreef 60 Eco that made its Asia debut. The yacht features solar-powered propulsion and advanced electric capabilities. The Silent 62 by Silent Yachts wowed with a 16.8kW solar array and twin electric motors for clean cruising, and the Greenline 48 Fly by Derani Yachts earned praise for its hybrid engine and whisper-quiet operation. While the Rapido 500 ECO Power Cat by Rapido Catamarans features incredible fuel efficiency and a parachute sail add-on that enhances the cruising experience.

Beyond the marina, this year’s Festival also embraced the luxury lifestyle that engaged high-net-worth individuals, families, collectors, and lifestyle enthusiasts alike. J.P. Morgan Private Bank was an official sponsor and with their support of the VIP Lounge that offered exclusive retreats for intimate client engagement and networking. Canapés crafted with premium ingredients such as abalone and lobster, alongside a live oyster station, were provided by Chef De Maison. Guests enjoyed bespoke whisky masterclasses by Brown-Forman, wine tasting by Wine Adore, a pampering hand massage by La Mer, and a premium space dressed by CANCA FURNISHINGS for intimate client engagement and networking.

The debut of the Superyacht Lounge sponsored by Damen, MTU and Catalano Shipping Services was an exclusive space dedicated to superyacht stakeholders. Newly introduced to SYF in partnership with Rolls- Royce and supported by the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA), Industry professionals from shipbuilders and designers to brokers and agents, enjoyed the air-conditioned space and raised alfresco platform where APSA hosted a daily happy hour, and Damen Yachts hosted an exclusive invitation-only ‘Sunset Cocktails’ for VIPs and the superyacht community.

The SYF Exhibition Pavilion was a vibrant hub of innovation and boating essentials, featuring a diverse mix of 37 brands that spanned the full spectrum of the boating and luxury lifestyle ecosystem. APSA members exhibiting included Quality Marine Clothing, an Australian based shop for clothing & accessories; Maritime Cook Islands for superyacht registration, and Hilda Loe Associates, a one stop service for offshore company formations, nominee services, and yacht registration.

This year’s expanded Pavilion included a breadth of services and equipment providers that support the boating industry and included a Marina Industry Association (MIA) stand that featured nine exhibitors including APSA member Horizon City Marina Kaohsiung (Taiwan), along with Mulpha Marinas Sanctuary Cove, Hayman Island, Bellingham Marine, Marine Structures, Poralu Marine, Copley Marine Group, Butchart Marine Services and Roodberg Boat Handling. 

Live water toy demonstrations added adrenaline to the one the water experiences, with Seabob premiering its F9 model for the first time in Asia. Festival Market, presented by JIU Asia, offered gourmet alfresco dining and premium spirits, boutique retail, and live entertainment, creating a vibrant social atmosphere across the marina.

The next edition of Singapore Yachting Festival is set to take place from 23 to 26 April 2026, with new benchmarks—not only in terms of scale and participation but also in its ability to shape conversations across the yachting, luxury, and innovation industries. Building on this momentum, the 2025 edition drew unprecedented attendance, further highlighting the Festival’s growing global influence and pivotal role in advancing the region’s yachting and luxury lifestyle landscape.
