YACHTZOO JAPAN goes cruising on SILENT WORLD II
Nigel Beatty, head of YACHTZOO JAPAN and APSA Chairman was recently cruising on Silent World II, in the Seto Naikai – the Inland Sea of Japan. “We spent 5 days onboard as guests of the owner, enjoying a great cruising, local foods, swimming and water toys,” says Beatty.
“SWII is such a great platform for having fun and entertaining, but at the same time she is a true world cruiser, a classic yacht style, loads of entertaining space and in great shape. In Japan it is rainy season this time of year until about mid-July, so it was hit and miss whether we would get sunny days, but it was perfect, blue seas, deserted islands, blue skies, 28 degrees, as well as an excellent Japanese chef and well stocked wine fridge. The cockpit was my favourite part of the boat whether it was swimming or diving from the swim platform or sport fishing while underway, this is such a useful and multipurpose part of this yacht and most yacht don’t have them! But the jacuzzi on the fly bridge is great too, and the huge staterooms ensure a fabulous relaxing and luxurious experience.”
Previously cruising Australia, Florida & the Caribbean , Pacific Northwest and other regions, this 120ft Christensen built in 1991 has a range of 2,500 nm, is in fabulous condition and has a bargin asking price of $1,200,000 USD. SILENT WORLD II is part the existing sales fleet in Japan, with M/Y SKYE a bespoke 2020 Sunseeker 86 and INDIGO a stunning 105 CBI Navi Expedition; as well as various “off market” yachts ranging between 25 and 50 meters.
