Sanlorenzo S.p.A. announced that it has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with Mike Simpson to evaluate the Company’s entry into the Simpson Marine Group and other affiliate companies. Simpson Marine has been operating for forty years as a major yacht sales and service company throughout the APAC territory.
The ceremony was held at the Livorno yard to launch FB283, a 62-meter Benetti Full Custom Yacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, tailor made for the owner like a bespoke suit. Signing off the entire project from a blank sheet of paper was Giorgio Cassetta, author of the exteriors and interiors. The hull lines are by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

However, a recent superyacht visit was a little different, as due to mechanical issues the yacht was not able to be there for the owner’s visit.However, the owners and their guests decided to continue with their travel plans and visited Tasmania, without their yacht.
