Boutsen Design is Onboard Sailing Yacht CeFeA

Boutsen Design is proud to have been selected as the interior designer the majestic sailing yacht CeFeA, the flagship of the celebrated Solaris Yachts brand. Daniela Boutsen was even prouder to receive the “Best Design” at the Yacht Design & Innovation Awards, and the “Commendation Award” by the Judges at the Boat International’s World Superyachts Awards. The yacht was exhibited at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival as well as at the Monaco Yacht Show, the ultimate luxury rendezvous for the Superyacht international elite clientele.

Thailand Lifts Travel Restrictions for Yachts

New regulations for flying in to Phuket will make it easier for crew changes and the eventual reopening of Thailand scheduled to take place on 1st November. “The Thai government’s aim is to allow all vaccinated crew/ guests to fly into Thailand without the need for Quarantine. Yacht check-in is also scheduled to get easier”, reports Gordon Fernandes in Phuket, co-founder of Asia Pacific Superyachts.

Navim Yacht Lab Designing Beauty

Style is something Navin Group is passionate about and luxury is something that they craft with technology. Navim Group has been designing and manufacturing marine equipment for luxury giga and megayachts, since 1990. In 2011, due to the expansion of the market, Tecnimpianti, a Navim Group company, inaugurated its own Yacht lab; strategically located in Livorno. The division was created, specifically to design equipment for mega and giga yachts and to follow the luxury segment in depth.

GGCM Establishes a Circular Economy

The award-winning Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM) is yet again setting standards in the marina industry. After partnering with the Centre for a Waste Free world at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the “Closing the Loop” project was established in July of this year and will ultimately lead to a circular economy within the Gold Coast based shipyard.

Motopanfilo 37M a Design Icon

Although distinctly modern in its use of fibreglass and composite lines, the Motopanfilo 37M is heavily inspired by its historical originators. Motopanfilo is an Italian word used in the 1960s to denote the large motor yachts of the time: an era of many stylistic and creative successes. Such connotations of glamour and style continue to ring true for the contemporary model, appealing to a new generation of yacht owners with its tasteful construction.

GMT Global Marine Travel at FLIBS

The Oasis Lounge was buzzing with activity during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2021 on 27-31 October. Superyacht Captains, Crew, Sponsors and VIPs mingled in two special show locations: the Hall of Fame/Coconuts Dock at the main show and the Superyacht Village. Organizers hosted a crafty Fall floral workshop, streamed the NZ vs. Wales rugby game, held a prize drawing for two business class round trip tickets from Turkish Airlines, and more.
