Benetti Unveils the First B.Now 50M

Benetti unveils the first B.Now 50M and opens a new chapter in the history of steel megayachts. This 50-metre vessel is one of four B.NOW models with a length of 50, 58, 66 and 72 metres, superbly designed by RWD to meet the needs of the most forward-looking owners. The B.NOWs are unique thanks to the advanced construction technology used by Benetti, which reduces the time for construction by around 30%. The construction technology allows a sinuous hull to be created, marrying the interior and exterior decks with large elongated windows. All four models can be built with the OASIS DECK®, a design solution enabling the outdoor space to be experienced as an oasis of conviviality and relaxation.

Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard further increases capacity in 2021

Most of the world started the year on a bit of an unsure foot. Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM) was no different. They forged on, preparing as best they could for what 2021 might throw at them. With the lobbying to keep shipyards open as an essential service from the Marina Industry Association (MIA) back in 2020, GCCM and their 90 plus on-site marine businesses were fortunate to keep their doors open to a steadily increasing Australian marine industry.

Asia-Pacific Boating’s “Blue Planet”

Over the past year at Asia-Pacific Boating, we have continued our push to blend ocean conservation with the passion for boating and the ocean that we see in so many yacht owners. We introduced a Blue Planet section online when we relaunched the title in 2020. In 2021, we incorporated this content into a distinct section of the print magazine, in response to the overwhelmingly positive response we received from readers and advertisers alike.
