DYT Superyacht Transport Celebrates 1st Anniversary

After a busy year of sparkling seas and exotic ports, DYT celebrates the first anniversary of the amazing 214m yacht carrier,Yacht Servant. The Yacht Servant has sailed 80,857 nautical miles in her first year, meaning she has already sailed around the world four times! With 22 global port calls and 365 days of employment, it has been a busy first year for this innovative eye-catcher and her crew. M/Y Gran Finale Applauds Australia

Superyacht Australia Soirée returns for 4th Year

On 11 March, the annual Superyacht Australia Soirée returns for its fourth year, showcasing the superyacht luxury lifestyle with a display of vessels, a Yacht Hop and unique offerings from partners and sponsors at the iconic Jones Bay Marina located in the heart of Sydney Harbour. David Good, CEO of Superyacht Australia anticipates that this year’s event will be the most successful and highly attended to date.For the first time, the Soirée will partner with the International Superyacht Society to attract more international attendees now that borders have reopened and travel is relatively back on track.

Water Revolution Foundation Sustainability Course

Water Revolution Foundation would like to inform APSA readers about the upcoming Sustainability in Practice course, which will be held online on 11 & 12 April from 15:00 – 17:30hrs. The programme will provide hands-on training for participants to learn how to create a sustainability strategy, measure corporate social impact, and understand key concepts – all of the useful tools and tips needed to immediately start a sustainability programme inside one’s organisation! Singapore’s flourishing leisure marine industry has been bolstered with SG Marine Guide launching of the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) which will take place on 27-30 April 2023 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. To fill the void of the postponed Singapore Yacht Show, the Singapore Yachting Festival will put an end to speculation in the market of multiple yacht shows competing to launch in Singapore.

Benetti Launched 62-meter Full Custom Yacht FB283

The ceremony was held on January 26th at the Livorno yard to launch FB283, a 62-meter Benetti Full Custom Yacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, tailor made for the owner like a bespoke suit. Signing off the entire project from a blank sheet of paper was Giorgio Cassetta, author of the exteriors and interiors. The hull lines are by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

Asia is back in action. The Singapore Yachting Festival has just been announced, and it will take place on the 27-30 April at One˚15 Marina. We have just heard that the Japanese government has made very favourable amendments to rules regarding yacht crew and the length of time they can stay onboard foreign flagged yachts in Japanese waters. The 3rd ‘Sail the Andamans’ Yacht Rally & Carnival is being held 20 February – 21 March 2023 which is an excellent opportunity to experience the Andaman & Nicobar Islands – a magical yachting destination.
