Simpson Marine Celebrates at the Singapore Yachting Festival 2024

Simpson Marine celebrated 40 years of business in the yachting industry and over 3,500 yachts delivered in Asia throughout these four decades, and they proudly presented a remarkable fleet of six yachts, including Asia Premieres of the latest models ranging from 40 to 120ft from the renowned shipyards of Sanlorenzo, Bluegame and Fairline.

Among the highlights was the Asian debut of the Sanlorenzo SD118, the first of its kind in Asia, alongside the Bluegame BGX73, the Fairline Squadron 58, and the Southeast Asian premiere of the Bluegame BG42, each representing bespoke luxury and innovation in their respective categories.Alongside the Asia and Southeast Asian premieres, the Sanlorenzo SL96A and SX88 were also on display, providing visitors to the show with a variety of yachts from the different Sanlorenzo ranges. 

Among the highlights of this year’s festivities was the commemoration of Simpson Marine‘s 40th anniversary, a momentous occasion marked by joyous revelry and heartfelt gratitude with welcome speeches by Luca Cristino, Simpson Marine Chairman, Richard Allen, Simpson Marine COO and Nick Stratton, the company’s CSO. Richard Allen, Chief Operating Officer of Simpson Marine shares, “As every year since its inception, Simpson Marine was delighted to be part of the Singapore Yachting Festival, the company’s first official event since our strategic new chapter began with the recent acquisition by Sanlorenzo and the retirement of Mike Simpson. Our commitment to the yachting market in Asia is unwavering, and the yachting festival provides an ideal platform to showcase our exceptional range of yachts and services while connecting us with our yacht owners and customers attending the show from all over Asia.Strategically located in Singapore, the show has steadily grown as Asia’s main yachting event and an unmissable yearly rendezvous for the yachtsmen and women looking to discover more about boating and access this one-of-a-kind lifestyle.”

Additionally, as Simpson Marine commemorated their 40-year legacy,  Simpson Marine was awarded the “Asia’s Best Yacht Dealership” at the Yacht Style Yachting Awards, and Mike Simpson was awarded with a prestigious “Lifetime Achievement” for his invaluable contribution to the industry overall.

With forty years of excellence behind the company and countless adventures awaiting on the horizon Simpson Marine remains steadfast in the commitment to shaping the future of yachting in Asia and beyond. As announced prior to the show, the company has now been appointed official Asia Agent for Nautor Swan and more announcements are expected on both the portfolio and regional expansion in the following weeks.
