Asia Pacific Boating Managing Editor

Long-time Hong Konger, Andrew Dembina – originally from London – has re-joined _Asia Pacific Boating_(_APB_) and will be leading the magazine as Managing Editor. He has written about yachting for Asian and UK publications, and enjoys deepening insights into the minds of owners, brokers, shipyards and designers of sailing and motor craft, and into ever-morphing marine and yachting trends.

APSA’s Asia-Pacific Superyacht Cruising Experts

The Asia-Pacific cruising grounds have a lot to offer superyacht owners and charter operators. The ASPA Grand Tour was a webinar series that hosted 20 industry professionals, talking about their local cruising grounds and sharing a wealth of first-hand knowledge. The webinars kicked off APSA 10 th Anniversary celebrations in 2021.

Back from the Monaco Yacht Show 2021, where Water Revolution Foundation launched its new ‘Sustainable Yacht Design Taskforce’. A new collaboration of naval architects, interior and exterior yacht designers, dedicated to accelerating sustainability in yachting was launched on Thursday 23 September.

Virtual Boat Show Sri Lanka 2021

Join Sail Lanka Yachting Group at the VIRTUAL BOAT SHOW SRI LANKA 2021, taking place online from 25th to 29th October 2021. This five-day event is South Asia’s most focused and largest virtual boat show. This event will be the first ever Virtual marine festival in Sri Lanka organized to showcase the country’s capabilities in recreational boating and yachting, marine tourism, boat building and related services for export and local markets.

Australia InDepth Launched at MYS’21

Australia InDepth series has launched by Superyacht Australia at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 9-part feature series will be shown over the coming months on Superyachts.com and gives a glimpse into Australia’s holistic offering as a superyacht destination.

Chairman’s Message 29 October 2021

The boat shows continue: it’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this week, along with the first Virtual Boat Show Sri Lanka, and in November it will be METSTRADE. We know that some of our APSA Members are at FLIBS, and we look forward to hearing their feedback about the show. If you plan to be at METSTRADE, please let us know as APSA Committee Member Gordon Fernandes will be there to represent APSA.
