Sydney Charter Show and Australian Superyacht Conference

Australia has the largest charter fleet in Asia-Pacific and they are currently concentrated in Sydney in summer before deploying to the South Pacific, the Great Barrier Reef and the Kimberleys for the mid-year tropical season in the coming months. Add to this Sail GP Sydney, and the Australian Formula One in Melbourne, it’s a great time to come visit and help us grow the superyacht charter industry in the South Pacific. The exclusive, Sydney Charter Show is an invitation-only two-day event, which will be held on Sunday 22 and Monday 23 February, creating a dedicated platform to showcase the superyacht charter industry across Australia and the South Pacific, while positioning Sydney Harbour as a premier global charter destination.

TYBA Thailand Charter Licence Announcement

The Thai Yachting Business Association (TYBA) is pleased to share an important update to the Thai Charter License made by the Ministry of Transport. The Thailand YBA was instrumental in the inception of the Thai Charter License for yachts of a minimum length of 30 meters in 2015.

Thailand Yachting Conference 2026

Organised by JAND Group, the Thailand Yachting Conference 2026 was held at The Slate in Phuket, and was the lead-in event for the Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS) that was held 15-18 January. The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) was a Supporting Partner for both events, and a number of APSA members were speakers at the Conference.

The Southeast Asia Yachting Conference 2025 (SEA Yachting Conference 2025) is set to return, offering a world-class platform to discuss the unique challenges and advantages in the yachting industry across Southeast Asia. 2nd Asia- Pacific Superyacht Summit Announced

The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit is set to reconvene for its second edition at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Hong Kong on 7 and 8 May 2025, and APSA is pleased to a Supporting Partner. Proposed line up of topics to include: Japan as a superyacht destination, Vietnam Government’s interest in yachting, Family Offices and yachting, and the refit market in Asia.
