The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is one of the most anticipated events on the superyacht calendar, and for captains and crew attending this year’s edition from 28 October to 1 November 2026, the Oasis Lounge returns as an exclusive retreat designed just for them and run by GMT- Global Marine Travel and Yacht Chandlers. It is open daily from 11:00 to 17:00hrs and the Oasis Lounge offers a dedicated space for crew from exhibiting superyachts to connect and recharge between show commitments. With two locations – one at the Superyacht Village and another at Las Olas Marina – crew are welcome at either lounge, making it easy to find a spot no matter where your yacht is berthed across the sprawling show grounds.
What’s on offer? The Oasis Lounge is a full experience tailored to the needs and interests of superyacht professionals. Throughout the five-day event, crew can participate in a variety of activities, including morning yoga, crew competitions, live entertainment, beverage tastings, games and more.
- This year’s Tablescaping Competition follows the theme ‘Flower Power’, challenging interior crews to create a beautiful table setting inspired by flowers, colours and the spirit of the 1960s and ’70s. Judging will take place by appointment on Thursday and Friday.
- The Floral Competition returns on Thursday, at 11:00-13:00 in the Superyacht Village Oasis Lounge and at 14:00-16:00 in the Las Olas Oasis Lounge, where crew are tasked with exploring far-out designs with bold colours and retro vibes.
- On Saturday, crew can unwind at the Chill ‘n Grill event, featuring a live DJ set and barbecue food at 14:00-16:00 in the Las Olas Oasis Lounge.
- But the headline event is the Floating Invitational, a crew-exclusive pickleball tournament presented in collaboration with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. Taking place on a floating court directly in front of the Las Olas Marina Oasis Lounge, this doubles, mixed tournament will see yacht vs. yacht in a friendly but competitive showdown.

No crew lounge would be complete without quality food and refreshments, and the Oasis Lounge delivers. Pura Vida will provide complimentary lunch and refreshments throughout the day, offering a fresh and colourful catering spread designed for busy professionals on the go. Expect sandwiches, wraps, salads, empanadas, fruit, sweets and more, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
