What is the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association?
The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) is the leading membership body for the superyacht industry across the Asia-Pacific region. It connects yacht builders, brokers, marinas, shipyards, agents, legal and technical service providers, destinations and media, and promotes the growth and professionalism of superyachting throughout the region.
When was APSA founded?
APSA was founded on 20 April 2011, following an industry conference in 2009, with 45 founding members from 14 countries. The association marks its 15th anniversary in 2026.
Where is APSA based, and which region does it cover?
APSA is headquartered in Hong Kong (COS Centre, Kwun Tong, Kowloon). Its members operate across the Asia-Pacific, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, French Polynesia and the wider Pacific.
Who runs APSA?
APSA is governed by an elected committee of senior industry figures, chaired by Nigel Beatty, with Suzy Rayment as Executive Director. The full committee is listed on the About page.
How do I find a superyacht service provider in the Asia-Pacific?
The APSA Member Directory lists member companies across the region by category and location, including marinas, shipyards, agents, brokers, insurers, lawyers and suppliers. Every listed company is a current APSA member.
What events does APSA run?
APSA hosts the annual Asia Superyacht Night in Monaco on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show, supports the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit, and has a presence at regional events such as the Singapore Yachting Festival and major boat shows across the region.
