Singapore Yachting Festival New Format in 2027

The 2027 Singapore Yachting Festival is revamping its format to attract more qualified visitors and strengthening commercial opportunities for exhibitors. Being held at ONE°15 Marina from the 22-25 April 2027 at Sentosa Cove, Singapore, the show will have a new consumer-focused format designed to increase visitor engagement, attract qualified buyers and strengthen opportunities for exhibitors across the marine and luxury lifestyle sectors. It is also planning host several superyachts from major shipyards at the show in 2027. Jonathan Sit, Director of the Singapore Yachting Festival said: “Our strategy for the Singapore Yachting Festival is to attract more consumers with genuine interest in the yachting lifestyle, creating a larger pool of qualified buyers for our exhibitors. By expanding the festival experience, we are increasing engagement, extending time spent at the show and ultimately delivering stronger commercial outcomes for the industry.”

The 2027 Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) will feature Five Experience Pillars, Eleven Signature Zones and an all-new website designed to create richer experiences for visitors. With adjusted dates to optimise regional and international participation, the 2027 edition will feature a consumer experience-led programme designed to create greater engagement and deliver an even stronger platform for marine and yacht-related exhibitors, alongside sponsors and partners in the luxury lifestyle and services sectors. Sit continued: “Prior to the launch date, we have received strong interest from new and returning exhibitors, which is a testament to exhibitors’ confidence in the festival’s ability to deliver tangible commercial outcomes. This also reflects the value they see in Singapore as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific market. SYF 2026 was a pivotal year for the festival as we made a deliberate shift to broaden the show beyond yachts and marine products, introducing more lifestyle and experiential elements to attract a wider audience. With strong industry support and attendance growing by 20 per cent, we are confident in building further on this strategy for 2027.”

Sit added: “The next edition will see an expanded festival experience, including new features such as a dedicated Charter Collection, a stage for live performances and water activities. These additions are designed to increase footfall, extend visitor dwell time and create stronger engagement opportunities for exhibitors. We are also stepping up our regional outreach through promotional events across Southeast Asia to bring more qualified buyers to Singapore.”

The Marine Industry Association (MIA) is again coordinating a group presence for MIA, AIMEX and APSA members in the Exhibition Pavilion’s Yacht, Marinas & Marine Services zone, across two adjacent stands. Exhibitors will enjoy dedicated networking functions on the stand during the show and last year’s festival drew 14,280 visitors.Stand exhibitors can also access a specialinvitation-only networking reception, the Captains’ Exchange, has been added to the Singapore Yachting Festival 2027 program.

Along with the new format the SYF has launched a new website which features improved navigation, richer content and a more intuitive layout. Visitors and exhibitors alike can easily access festival information, explore participating brands, plan their visit and pre-book experiences. The new website is being rolled out in two phases, with phase 1 (Festival key components) now live, and phase two (visitor experiences) scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026. The latest announcements, exhibitor news and programme highlights will be progressively updated as the festival draws closer.
