The International Charter Expo (ICE) celebrated its 10th year anniversary edition in Amsterdam at EXPO Greater Amsterdam from 12- 14 November 2025. Bringing together more than 600 companies from over 57 countries, this year saw a dramatic increase of Asia-Pacific exhibitors from six in 2024 to 28 companies in 2025.
The success of the ICE is its innovative ‘Handshake matchmaking App’ that allows for pre-arranged meetings which allows participants to scheduled meetings weeks before the expo, thereby helping them make the most of their time. Thousands of meetings took place during the three days, showing once again why ICE is considered the most efficient networking event in the yacht charter industry.
This year Ankor Software sponsored the Superyacht Lounge and Mike Sager and Elliot Cousins, the Founders of Ankor Software, reported this year was their most commercially successful event of the year. “We get the chance to meet customers all in one place, which would not be possible without ICE. I would say the most operationally sound show in yachting.”
Another first for ICE were the industry forum that focused on the biggest challenges facing the global yacht charter market. Led by ICE Founder Tino Prosenik, the industry experts included Luka Šangulin, (Angelina Yachtcharter), Katerina Goutou (Fyly), Pavel Pribiš (Boataround) and Max Barbera (Barbera Yachting). The discussions focused on four key topics: offer and demand mismatch, over-discounting, commission models and customer satisfaction. The main message of the forum suggested strengthening the partnership between brokers and fleet operators to build a sustainable and successful global charter market.
The first day featured the long-awaited return of the ICE Rocks Party, which was fully subscribed and guests enjoyed music, dancing, and relaxed networking after a productive day at the expo. To celebrate its 10th year, ICE surprised participants with special anniversary gifts and a fun tombola during the ‘Networking Party’ on the second day.
ICE project manager, Antonija Čagalj said, “This honestly was the best ICE ever. The number of companies that took part, the number of high C-level executives and decision-makers, the number of new and interesting first-timers, all under one roof, made for a very positive networking experience that will improve the charter business industry as a whole.”
ICE was honoured by visits from representatives of the Croatian, Greek, Italian, and Turkish embassies, highlighting the event’s importance for the international charter community and the growing cooperation between key maritime countries. After a decade of connecting the charter world, the International Charter Expo continues to help companies grow, solve challenges, and build partnerships for the future. APSA members attending ICE 2025 included Ankor Software, Sail Lanka and Sea Leisure Yachting Group (SLYG).
The next edition of the International Charter Expo will take place again at EXPO Greater Amsterdam from November 11–13, 2026.
