Singapore Yachting Festival 2026 Concludes with Record Turnout

The fourth edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival closes as its largest and most internationally diverse yet — drawing 14,280 visitors and 211 brands to ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.

The fourth edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) concluded on a high note, welcoming 14,280 visitors over four days to ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove from 23 to 26 April 2026. This year’s Festival marked the largest and most internationally diverse edition to date, bringing together 211 participating brands from across yachting, marine innovation and luxury lifestyle.

“The response to this year’s Singapore Yachting Festival reflects rising confidence in Southeast Asia’s yachting market and Singapore’s role within it. We exceeded our target visitor numbers by 20 per cent and doubled the number of participating brands, underscoring the festival’s growing relevance as a platform for international yacht brands.”

— Arthur Tay, Chairman and CEO of SUTL Group

Tay added that the increased visitor numbers were driven in part by the immersive experiences introduced this year, citing strong commercial interest, qualified leads and transactions secured during the festival, with many exhibitors planning to return in 2027.

Headline Yachts on the Water

Across the marina, visitors explored a broad spectrum of vessels, from accessible day boats and sailing catamarans to some of the most impressive superyachts in Asia. Four superyachts in particular drew sustained attention at this year’s edition:

  • Princess Y95
  • Nomad 101
  • Sanlorenzo SX100
  • Sanlorenzo SD118

Together, they showcased the breadth of contemporary superyacht design, from long-range exploration and custom living to design-led beach club concepts.

Asia Premieres and a Push Toward Sustainability

The showcase featured a strong line-up of Asia premieres and notable debuts, including the Leopard 52, Saxdor 340 GTWA and Grady-White Adventure 218, alongside yachts such as the Azimut Seadeck 7, whose complete fold-down aft section and beach club concept reflect increased interest in innovation, performance and sustainability.

The 2026 edition also reflected evolving market demand, with the festival’s largest multihull presence in its history and its broadest representation yet of hybrid models and yachts incorporating sustainable design features — underscoring growing interest in efficiency and lower-impact marine technologies.

Beyond the Buyer: A Festival for Everyone

SYF continued to broaden its appeal beyond traditional yacht buyers, drawing new audiences through hands-on programming, sea trials and educational showcases designed to make recreational boating more approachable. Daily joy rides to the Southern Islands were met with waitlists throughout the festival, offering many visitors a direct introduction to being out on the water.

The Spotlight Zone drew consistently full audiences, with lifestyle-led sessions spanning investment, design, wine, spirits and marine innovation proving particularly popular. The Wellness Suite also received exceptional feedback, emerging as one of the standout additions to this year’s edition.

At the Experiential Zone, families and first-time visitors queued to try a range of water sports activities, reflecting strong curiosity around more active, participatory marine experiences.

Asia-Pacific in Focus

At the Festival’s opening ceremony Arthur Tay highlighted the expanding influence of Asia-Pacific within the global yachting industry, referencing figures from Cognitive Market Research that indicate the region accounts for around 23 per cent of global yacht charter revenue.

He also pointed to reporting from Superyacht Times that around 65 per cent of yachts active in the region are owned by Asian nationals, underscoring strong local demand and growth potential. Separately, he cited estimates from SG Marine Guide that each visiting superyacht contributes approximately S$110,000 per visit, reinforcing the role of marina infrastructure in supporting tourism, job creation and waterfront economies.

SYF also welcomed growing participation from international builders, regional dealers and emerging brands, reflecting broader confidence in Singapore as a strategic gateway to the Asia-Pacific market.

“The Singapore Yachting Festival has become a meaningful fixture in our yearly calendar. It attracts informed buyers and supports genuine business dialogue, while retaining an energy and openness that make it a pleasure to take part in. As we mark our tenth year in Asia-Pacific at the Festival, it remains an important platform for Sanlorenzo and Simpson Marine, and we look forward to returning in 2027 with an even stronger shipyard presence.”

— Daniele Luca, CEO of Sanlorenzo Asia Pacific and Simpson Marine

With attendance from industry stakeholders, owners, prospective buyers and lifestyle audiences, the 2026 edition demonstrated continued momentum in positioning yachting as both an economic sector and an increasingly accessible lifestyle category.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Building on the momentum of this year’s edition, organisers have confirmed the Singapore Yachting Festival will return from 15 to 18 April 2027 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. Following strong response to this year’s experiential programming, the next edition will continue to scale key elements across the festival, including expanded joy rides and charter-led discovery programmes, an enhanced Wellness Suite concept, and broader family-friendly watersports programming.

Organisers are also exploring additional market activations in Indonesia, Hong Kong and Thailand, reflecting the importance of these markets within the regional yachting ecosystem and creating new opportunities to engage owners, buyers and partners ahead of the festival — alongside continued development of the superyacht market in cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association.

As the Festival continues to evolve in scale and ambition, the focus remains on strengthening Singapore’s role as a hub for yachting, fostering regional collaboration and deepening the festival’s role as both a marketplace and meeting point for the regional and global yachting community.
