Global Marine Travel Hosts Oasis Lounge

Global Marine Travel is sponsoring the Oasis Lounge at this year’s Palm Beach Yacht Show along with Dockwalk,Yacht Chandler’s, Derecktor Shipyard, Engineered Yacht Solutions and Shipyard Supply. The lounge gives captains and crew a casual spot away from the bustle of the show to have a drink and a bite to eat, and catch up with friends. This is the Palm Beach show debut for the lounge, which will be similar to the Oasis Lounge at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. From 2025,Dockwalk will also partner with GMT at the FLIBS lounge.

Japan International Boat Show 2025

The Japan International Boat Show (JIBS) is a four-day event being held across three venues (20-23 March 2025). The Pacifico Yokohama will showcase over 190 exhibitors, including the latest models by Japanese shipyards, marinas, marine equipment, water toys and luxury cars; the Yokohama Bayside Marina has 53 yachts on display in-water, including international brands of both power and sail; and finally, the Hakkeijima Marina Venue offers sea-themed experience programmes that can be enjoyed by both parents and children.

Indonesia’s Marine Tourism Strategies

The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism (MoT) is working to reform the local travel and tourism industry, outlining key strategies tol focus on attracting high-spending travellers and developing high-value tourism products, as reported in a TTG Asia article published March 7th. Rizki Handayani, MoT’s deputy for industry and investment, highlighted the government’s efforts to make tourism a priority sector at the Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association (IHRA) national conference. “We must provide products that resonate with high-value travellers,” she said, adding that the ministry is prioritising wellness, gastronomy, and marine tourism to cater to current travel trends.

Horizon Power Catamarans to Debut First PC60 with Portuguese Deck Layout at Palm Beach

Horizon Power Catamarans will take centre stage at the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show with the world premiere of the first PC60 to feature a Portuguese Deck configuration. The builder will enjoy a premium show position this year, with a dockside showcase located at Dock HPCDU, slips 288 and 289. Debuting the first Portuguese Deck layout, Hull 32, the latest in the wildly successful multihull PC60 model, adheres to the gilded rule of the outdoor lifestyle: maximized exterior deck space.

Fema Marine S.A. Signs Partnership Agreement with ADOMS

The government has made strides to enhance the country’s superyacht registry by signing a significant agreement with a Swiss company. This partnership, established through the Antigua and Barbuda Department of Marine Services (ADOMS), aims to promote and market the nation’s yacht registration services.

Plus Marine Awarded Projects in Neom Sindallah Marina

During the last 18 months, Plus Marine has been awarded three new projects in Neom-Sindallah Marina, Jeddah Central Development and Triple Bay Amaala. In cooperation with the Design Studio Luca Dini, Plus Marine created a unique custom-made pedestal for this project, for berthing megayachts up to 50m. These pedestals will be remotely metered through Plus Marine’s SmartCloud Software.

Burgess Celebrates 10 years in Asia

Burgess is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, with this year also marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment of its Asia operation in 2015.
