ASMEX Cancelled for 2020!

At an Extraordinary AIMEX Board Meeting it was decided that the Australian Superyacht, Marine Export & Commercial Marine Industry Conference (ASMEX) needed to be cancelled for 2020, as a result of the Australian Prime Minister’s announcement on Wednesday 18 March, declaring an indefinite ban on indoor gatherings of 100 people or more. ASMEX organisers, the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX), the Australian Commercial Marine Group (ACMG) and Superyacht Australia stated that the health and well-being of their members, sponsors, speakers, staff and other stakeholders is their top priority and ticketholders would be contacted regarding a refund.

Singapore Yacht Show 2020 New Dates and New Format

The Singapore Yacht Show (SYS) organizing team, working closely with its exhibitors and event partners over the past few weeks to determine the most suitable new dates for the re-scheduled SYS 2020, have finally announce that the 10th Anniversary edition of Asia’s most important boat show will take place on **15 – 18 October 2020**- the dates preferred by the vast majority of participants – in the completely re-designed and rejuvenated ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.

Update on Asia-Pacific Boat Shows

Boat Shows in the Asia Pacific Region for the first few months of 2020 are suffering from postponements and cancellations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But, some have been rescheduled and the new dates announced.
