APSA Visit to Lantau Yacht Club, Hong Kong 2020

Members of the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association toured the Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) resort-marina facility in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong — the first of its kind superyacht marina in Hong Kong and the only one in the Greater Bay Area able to accommodate superyachts up to around 100m. APSA members from AON (HK), Brookes Bell, Camper Nicholsons First Eastern, Expat Marine Services, M Yachts, Marsh JLT, Rosemont and Simpson Marine visited the marina, golf club and hotel facilities. The overhauled marina offers 148 berths (mainly 10–60m, with 38 berths for yachts 30m and above), meter-controlled shore power, water, black/bilge water pump-out, fuel and bunkering, a 45-ton travel hoist, full-service concierge and 24-hour mooring assistance — a major game changer for Hong Kong’s yachting and superyacht industry.
