Clearvac Engineering Asia welcomes new General Manager
Clearvac Engineering Asia is pleased to announce the appointment of our new General Manager, Mr. Scott Duncanson. After another year of growth, Clearvac is excited to have Scott leading the team to implement further expansion in the SE Asia region. Scott relocated to Thailand in 1991, after completing studies as a shipwright, in Adelaide, Australia. Following in his father’s footsteps (John Duncanson, a renowned Yacht Designer) he joined a team, manufacturing commercial and military ships for the Thai navy in Chonburi, and as an instructor of computer-aided design at a technical college in Laem Chabang.
Moving south to Phuket in 1999, he now has over 20 years of Corporate General Management experience in Thailand, over a variety of different industries, including founding the “Seahorse Sailing Phuket”, sailing school. Scott has always been active in the competitive sailing scene, a 4 times Phuket King's Cup winner in a variety of different classes lead to him serving as Commodore of the Phuket Yacht Club for many years and is still heavily involved as the Vice Commodore today.
Clearvac Engineering Asia is excited about the future growth and industry insight Scott will bring to the role. With plans for further company expansion into the competitive sailing community in SE Asia, and the implementation of corporate company management procedures throughout our offices in Phuket, Bangkok and Singapore, Scott's expertise will be instrumental in streamlining these processes to ensure Clearvac provides the best experiences for our clients.
"I'm thrilled to join this fresh and exciting company. Clearvac's service offerings are unique in the Asia Pacific marine industry, and I am eager to collaborate with the team to set new standards for professional maritime services throughout the region." Welcome aboard Scott.
