Horizon Unveils the FD100

The latest FD100 is a fusion of ocean inspiration and the pinnacle of design in a five-stateroom and tri-deck configuration. Crafted by Horizon, this vessel hones the design of Cor D. Rover with a range of amenities that elevate the FD Series’ hallmark features, offering an intimate experience with the ocean’s elements.

Stowaway ottomans fit seamlessly into the coffee table, utilizing the space. To enjoy the stunning seascape views from a different perspective, two swivel armchairs to starboard complete the formal lounge setup.

Inside the dining area, the ten-seat table’s hand-painted, turquoise-blue, glass tabletop takes prominence. This work of art provides guests with a sense of dining on the ocean’s surface. The table is infused with life by natural light as well as the Articolo Trilogy Horizontal Pendant overhead, creating an iridescent effect that is sure to be a topic of conversation around meals. Forward of the dining space, the well-equipped galley with plentiful Cambria counter space, whose wavy patterns mirror a coastal landscape, beautifully incorporates the oceanic motif. Additionally, a separate door and Hi/Lo textured glass partition provide privacy, while a modified chef’s nook forward to port with pull-out chair provides added convenience.

This FD100 offers a five-stateroom layout with exceptional comfort for owners and guests. A tranquil retreat is found in the appointed full-beam master stateroom with a large his-and-hers ensuite situated forward. The stateroom features a king-sized bed and has plenty of cabinets and dressers for stowage on extended cruises. Elegant Oracle LED wall sconces on a MML Stone-Breccia Melange headboard add a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance of the space. From the starboard-side foyer of the main deck, the stairwell leads to the bridge deck above and to the guest staterooms on the lower deck. A leather-textured wall creates an almost art gallery-like feel when transitioning to the lower deck, where there are four deluxe ensuite staterooms comprising mirrored VIPs amidships, a convertible twin with a Pullman berth to port, and a third VIP in the bow. Throughout the staterooms, the TV panels are uniformly bordered by inVinci wallcovering with gradients and layered elements that enhance their visual appeal.

Aft of the engine room, which houses twin CAT C32A 1,900hp engines, crew quarters comprise a double Captain’s cabin, two sets of bunk cabins, crew mess, a freezer and laundry facilities. The beach club is a snug enclave, furnished with seating, a wet bar, and two barstools. On the bridge deck, the enclosed skylounge design presents generous indoor space and doubles as a second salon complete with a wet bar, icemaker, and TV, as well as a day head to port. Moving aft, shaded by the hard top, is a ten-seat dining table with a marble-patterned top, a fold-down 43” LED TV, and a fully equipped BBQ station with a wet bar. Space to bask in the sunshine is found furthest aft, where sprawling U-shaped seating invites relaxation. For more sun-worshipping moments, head through the port side to the foredeck area and unwind on plush sun pads or enjoy alfresco dining in the U-shaped seating with dinettes.

One of the standout aspects of this FD100 is the Jacuzzi tub on the uppermost tri-deck. A truly welcoming area perfect for entertainment with a wet bar and plentiful sun pads, this space also houses a 55” Hi/Lo LED TV that rotates to suit viewers from multiple vantage points.
