Now open for business in Shanghai

Burgess celebrates the opening of the new Shanghai office with a week worth of celebrations

While snow fell on Shanghai’s renowned waterfront the Bund, Burgess’ senior team in Asia were in town to celebrate the opening of the new Shanghai office. To coincide with being voted Best International Brokerage Company in Asia at the recent Christofle Yacht Style Awards, the team couldn’t have wished for a more auspicious start: heavy snow in winter foretells an excellent harvest in summer.

Over the course of the week the new Burgess Shanghai team of Rock Wang, Fay Duan and Leon Li, together with Jean-Marc Poullet (Chairman, Burgess Asia), Tiah Hwee (Business Development, Asia), Joe Yuen (Head of Yacht Management, Asia) and Mark Woodmansey (Chief Representative and Yacht Broker, China) welcomed clients and marketing partners, industry and press to a series of events introducing Burgess’ superyacht services to the mainland China market.

As the action-packed week drew to a close, Rock Wang reflected: “We have had a very busy but fruitful week. I feel more and more proud to be part of the Burgess family.”
