YACHTZOO TOKYO sells M/Y INDIGO to Japanese client
YACHTZOO TOKYO is pleased to announce the sale to INDIGO to a Japanese client who is already a seasoned yacht owner.
INDIGO is a 1998 Lloyds Class CBI Navi 32 meter with steel hull and aluminum super structure. She is a world cruising yacht with 4,000 miles range and 3 circumnavigations already completed including a transit of the Northwest Passage.
A real world class adventure yacht INDIGO feels a lot bigger than her 32 meters would suggest. She will enter select charter service through YACHTZOO as she voyages around the world for her owner with 4 to 6 crew depending on the program at the time. She is planned to cruise briefly in New England before crossing to the Mediterranean and then back to the Caribbean. 2018 will see her cruise to the South Pacific before entering Asia, arriving to Taiwan for a yard period, and then to Japan to base as a charter yacht; perfect timing for the Rugby World Cup (2019) and Olympic Games (2020).
This is YACHTZOO TOKYO’s first yacht sale, of which negotiations started just 11 weeks after the Tokyo branch was established in Minato-ku in the center of Tokyo. The sale was in collaboration with YACHTZOO’s Fort Lauderdale office which handled local business in Florida where INDIGO was berthed at the time. The listing brokers for the sale were Northrop & Johnson.
