Cruising Destination of the Month- Thailand

Nestled in the heart of Southeast Asia, Thailand offers a unique cruising destination for those wishing to find culture, treasured heritage, secluded beaches, uninhabited pristine islands, incredible food, a perfect superyacht climate and some of the friendliest people in the world! The cruising grounds off the east coast of the island of Phuket are among the finest anywhere. Gordon Fernandes, heading up Asia Pacific Superyachts Phuket & Myanmar, reports that vessels are finding a rapidly developing world class hub for superyachts with the number of luxury yachts, upscale marinas and facilities increasing almost daily.

The World of Yachts magazine teams up with APSA in Monaco

This month APSA has featured heavily in **THE WORLD OF YACHTS** magazine, the world’s only bi-monthly Arabic international yachting magazine. This is great for **APSA**as coming out of the Arabian gulf we always want the yachts to turn left and come to Asia, instead of right and go to the Mediterranean!

Kitty McGowan Visits the GBR Region

The Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef had the pleasure hosting Kitty McGowan from the US Superyacht Assoc. at the Great Barrier Reef recently. Kitty toured the Great Barrier Reef Marine College, BSE Cairns Slipways and enjoyed a lunch with Captain and Chief Engineer from MY Vava II and the Captain of Plus Ultra, joined by Ports North, BSE and Carter Marine Agencies. They then all embarked on a tour of the ground breaking JCU Aquarium and then onto the gorgeous tropical vantage point of the Cairns Skyrail. McAllister’s boutique brewery was an obvious hit for them next, overlooking the Cairns cane fields.
