MCY 70, a star at China Rendez-vous 2017

China Rendez-vous 2017 – Asia’s premium luxury lifestyle event – took place from December 8th-11th, 2017 in Hainan, China. Monte Carlo Yachts presented its own booth at the show, offering an overview of the brand’s philosophy and its full range of luxury motor yachts. Meanwhile, the Monte Carlo Yachts 70 was on display, drawing a lot of traffic at the show. A signing ceremony was held at Beneteau Night on the 9 th to celebrate with a new MCY 70 boat owner in China.

The marquesas festival: unlock the ancient secrets of the South Pacific

The most remote archipelago in the world, which is the gateway to _The Islands of Tahiti_ for yachts coming from the East, has held a lasting, mythical appeal for sailors since Western navigators reached these islands in the late 16 th century. The “Land of Men” – Henua Enana in the Marquesan language – was the epicenter of the cultural revival in _The Islands of Tahiti_. It is also home to a fiercely authentic arts festival which takes place every four years since 1986, and attracts artists and travelers from all over the Polynesian Triangle.

Promoting The Islands of Tahiti at international trade shows

_Tahiti Tourisme_ attended three major events in the second semester of 2017: the [Monaco Yacht Show](https://tahiti-tourisme.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=56740bd7d6228c84d4c1626c6&id=fa3876f6bf&e=e2f20910da), the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting. Tahiti Tourisme staff experienced first-hand the yachting industry optimism in a favorable global economic context and were able to strengthen old ties and create new ones that will undoubtedly lead to more superyacht arrivals in _The Islands of Tahiti_.
