**Gold Coast, Australia:** As a part of their expansion plans, Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard (GCCM) is excited to announce Derrick Nowak has joined the team in a newly created Business Development position.

Benetti is pleased to announce the sale of the first unit of the Diamond 145 model, the 44-meter displacement yacht presented last September during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018. The exterior lines, featuring huge glazed surfaces that accentuate the length of the yacht and ensure that the interiors are flooded with natural light, are the work of Giorgio M. Cassetta. The interiors feature light colour shades to decorate the yacht’s roomy, welcoming settings.

Last month the first meeting of the lobby group established by Captain Paul Brackley was held in Kaohsiung which will encourage government to create a proper superyacht marina in KHH: Kaohsiung International Marina Development Association, KIMDA.

Since its inception in 2017, **Australian Superyacht Rendezvous** has annually assembled a glittering en masse line-up of Australia’s finest superyachts and this year the bar has been raised with the addition of a high-profile international yacht.

When The Superyacht Gathering in Auckland was being organised, Asia Pacific Superyachts New Zealand was one of the first companies outside of Yachting Developments to put forth their support, encouraging organisers it was a great idea for the NZ Superyacht Industry, for the event to be held in Auckland March 27 th-29 th, 2019.

In a coup for Queensland’s Gold Coast and a sign of increasing international superyacht traffic to the region, one of the world’s most notable expedition superyachts, M/Y SuRi has docked at Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM) for major repair and refit work.
