APSA Chairman’s Message – 31 October 2026
Dear APSA Members and Friends,
The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) recently celebrated its 15th Anniversary in Monaco and the videos are now on the APSA website. Thanks to our all our sponsors especially FEMA Marine who was our Patron sponsor for APSA’s 15th Anniversary celebrations. Several APSA members are now at the FLIBS and busy connecting the USA superyacht community. Two of our APSA Committee, Gordon Fernandes (Asia Pacific Superyachts) and Luca Santambrogio (Frigomar) are there so do reach out to them if you want to learn more about APSA.
Other APSA members exhibiting at FLIBS this year include Horizon Yachts who are promoting their FS110, and Hong Kong-based Cheoy Lee Shipyards who are presenting their new layout options for the 35-metre CLC115 tri-deck catamaran. GMT- Global Marine Travel is welcoming superyacht captains and crew to the Oasis Lounges which can be found at two locations during the show; at the Superyacht Village and another at Las Olas. Other APSA members exhibiting this year include StellaPM who are promoting their StellaCAT series and full-Service Superyacht Refit facilities that are now open.
Other news this month includes new launches by superyacht shipyards; Benetti, Gulf Craft and Ferretti along with a rundown of events that are coming up in Hong Kong in November which includes the Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show, and the new The Festival of Connoisseurs. Other events on the calendar for 2027 are the Thailand Yachting Conference, Thailand International Boat Show and the Singapore Yachting Festival in April. APSA, Superyacht Australia and the Marine Industry Association (MIA) are collaborating on an Exhibition Pavilion’s Yacht, Marinas & Marine Services zone, where exhibitors will enjoy dedicated networking functions and Stand exhibitors can access a special invitation-only networking reception, the Captains’ Exchange.
Finally, don’t forget to register for METSTRADE before the 31 October for free entry. If you are heading to METSTRADE, APSA will be attending The Superyacht Forum, METSTRADE and the Yacht Racing Forum. If you are heading for Amsterdam, please let us know and for more information on APSA and its activities, please contact Suzy Rayment at marketing@apsuperyacht.org
Enjoy your time on the water and safe sailing.
Best Wishes,
Nigel Beatty
