Promoting The Islands of Tahiti at international trade shows

Several luxury yachts, including a large, futuristic silver trimaran, are moored at a marina with people walking on the pontoons. Lush green hills and elegant houses are visible in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

_Tahiti Tourisme_ attended three major events in the second semester of 2017: the Monaco Yacht Show, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting. Tahiti Tourisme staff experienced first-hand the yachting industry optimism in a favorable global economic context and were able to strengthen old ties and create new ones that will undoubtedly lead to more superyacht arrivals in _The Islands of Tahiti_.
The 27 th Monaco Yacht Show took place 26-29 September 2017, drawing 580 companies and 125 yachts. Forty-five new launches were announced during the event, opening new possibilities for a luxury yachting destination such as _The Islands of Tahiti._ The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, 1-5 November 2017, drew over 105,000 visitors. _Tahiti Tourisme_ had extremely fruitful exchanges with a number of industry actors, continuing to grow its professional network in North America and beyond.
A special event for charter specialists in Antigua
Last but not least, _Tahiti Tourisme_ attended the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, 4-10 December 2017. The industry-only setting was a great opportunity to meet many professionals and the crew from a number of superyachts.
Among them was the SY Hemisphere; the largest sailing catamaran in the world, confirmed her arrival in _The Islands of Tahiti_ in 2018.
This announcement was the perfect occasion for _Tahiti Tourisme_ to host a presentation of our destination aboard this beautiful yacht, in partnership with Tahiti SuperYacht Support. Along with Captain Gavin Bladen and his crew, Vaihere Lissant and Manoa Rey from Tahiti Tourisme welcomed more than 40 charter brokers, industry professionals and trade journalists to the event. They highlighted the assets of _The Islands of Tahiti_ as a superyacht destination, where passengers and crew can not only enjoy some of the most exclusive spots on the planet, but also expect a warm welcome from local authorities and support services.
