Dear APSA Members and Friends,
A Month of Member News
More June news, especially with ‘The Greater Bay Yachting Archipelago’ becoming a reality! Rivergate Marina & Shipyard is celebrating their 20th anniversary, marking two decades at the forefront of Australia’s superyacht industry. While in China, the Livart Group is proud to announce the launch of their new corporate identity, evolving from a marina infrastructure supplier to a fully integrated international marina solutions group.
Superyacht Australia representatives David Good, CEO and Stephen Joyce, Brisbane 2032 Marine Project Manager, met with Moetai Brotherson, the President of French Polynesia. The partnership between Australia and French Polynesia welcomes the global superyacht fleet to the South Pacific, with the region now experiencing record levels of superyacht visitation following five years of coordinated international promotion.
Informa is set to enter the Australian boat show market with the launch of the Australian International Boat Show, to be held in Sydney’s Darling Harbour in July 2027, and the Hong Kong Tourism Board has signed a three-year MoU with Informa Markets to establish a strategic partnership that will jointly bring a portfolio of premium international exhibition IPs to Hong Kong.
As the Mediterranean yachting season gets fully underway, FEMA Marine’s managed fleet is actively operating across the region, with yachts cruising, preparing for guest operations, and completing major technical programmes. APSA is pleased to announce that FEMA Marine will be our Patron Sponsor for the ‘Asia Superyacht Night’ in Monaco on 22 September 2026. It will be a special celebration year, as it marks APSA’s 15th Anniversary.
If you are travelling in the region, GMT – Global Marine Travel suggests you don’t delay making bookings for upcoming flights in the hope that air fares will ease, as the global aviation market is under pressure.
“June has been a bumper month for news, and APSA will continue to work regionally and think globally.”
