APSA Members invitation to the Festival of Connoisseurs (TFOC)

APSA Members are invited to ‘The Festival of Connoisseurs’ (TFOC), organised by Informa Markets. This curated gathering being held from the 4-6 November at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong Hall 3 & 6 and Marina Showcase, is for those who appreciate excellence, craftsmanship, culture, and discovery. Bringing together nine distinct worlds under one roof, TFOC invites APSA members to explore exceptional brands, rare experiences, and meaningful connections. Held in Hong Kong, the festival celebrates the art of understanding, where luxury is not about being seen, but being understood.

Hong Kong context: As announced in this year’s Policy Address and Budget, the Government has earmarked $100 million to attract large-scale international exhibitions with new elements to Hong Kong, with a view to developing Hong Kong into the first-choice platform for showcasing Mainland and international brands. The Festival of Connoisseurs (TFOC) is the first international flagship exhibition supported by the new funding, organised by Informa Markets in collaboration with AsiaWorld-Expo. Hong Kong’s “super-connector” role links international brands, the mainland market and consumers across Asia. As a free port with no VAT or general sales tax — plus mature MICE facilities, hotels and harbour setting — it offers a whole-city platform for brand display and trade. The November series forms part of Hong Kong’s events economy (mega-events / 盛事經濟).

Hong Kong also has favourable conditions for a yacht economy: harbours and islands, shipping services, international connectivity, and hotel and dining support that combine marine activity with city tourism. “粵艇南下” commenced with its first voyage on 16 October 2026; the Marine Department has introduced one-stop online pre-arrival procedures and five designated visiting-yacht anchorage areas; new berths and harbour projects continue. Through “City-as-your-showroom” / 全城即展廳, TFOC connects curated indoor showcases with outdoor and waterfront experiences, turning Hong Kong’s connector role into business opportunities for brands, yacht owners and connoisseurs — while early-November pre-exhibition events and selected public activities open the festival to the business community, industry buyers and the wider public. Marina Fest and The Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show 2026 – Festa Nautica place public participation alongside the main show. This aligns with Government policy to develop the yacht economy and to consolidate Hong Kong’s status as an international convention and exhibition hub.
