Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) brings Asia to Monaco Yacht Show

The mood throughout Asia Pacific and the superyacht industry is increasingly upbeat, with news of changing regulations favouring visiting yachts and new world-class marinas. Representing a dozen-plus Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) agencies, directors are looking forward to sharing news at the APS Stand DS26 (in the air-conditioned Darse Sud Tent) at the Monaco Yacht Show, held in the glamorous principality from 24–27 September 2025.

“It’s exciting to return to Monaco once again and we are excited to share news of the growth and new developments in Asia Pacific’s tropical cruising paradises of Maldives, Seychelles, Thailand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and more. We are thrilled to discuss how Asia Pacific regions will enhance the worldwide marine tourism industry with revised charter licence laws along with changes that will make it so much easier and less costly for more superyachts to cruise these beautiful waters.”

The Maldives: A New Era of Superyacht Infrastructure

“Zamani Islands Superyacht Marina will launch in 2026, marking a new era for those seeking to cruise the Maldivian waters. This cutting-edge project aims at transforming the superyacht experience into an exceptionally luxurious convenience. The project will encompass eight islands extending 5 kilometres into a natural lagoon, offering the country’s first Yacht Club and a 60,000 sq. mtr. superyacht marina.”

— Mohamed Hameed, Managing Director, APS Maldives

Seychelles: Untouched Frontiers at Eden Island

“Seychelles represents luxurious and untouched frontiers for vessels, and the Eden Island marina offers an unparalleled berthing experience for all sizes, including superyachts up to 120 meters. The marina forms a part of Eden Island, with access to a host of services and amenities right at the marina’s edge.”

Sri Lanka and Bali: Culture, Beauty, and New Marina Infrastructure

Sri Lanka continues to captivate with its rich heritage and dramatic coastline. APS Sri Lanka highlights the opportunity for yacht guests to craft unique itineraries that include the best of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine and one-of-a-kind experiences such as ‘Stilt Fishing’ — an authentic tradition not found anywhere else in the world.

Bali’s Port of Benoa is undergoing a major revamp and will feature a brand-new full-service marina. The strategically located facility’s amenities will include a prestigious yacht club, modern yacht services, luxury hospitality options, and commercial areas with extensive retail, offices, entertainment, and dining outlets — setting a new benchmark for yachting facilities in the region.

The beauty of these destinations, together with the culture and the welcoming nature of the islands’ people, is unique to the Asia Pacific region — providing a special ambience of remote land and sea beauty for luxury yachts.
