Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is one of the world’s finest and busiest airports. As an international and regional aviation hub, the airport is connected to over 200 destinations globally through 140 airlines. Since opening in 1998, it has been named the world’s best airport more than 90 times. It also holds the distinction of being the world’s busiest cargo airport, a title it has claimed 14 times since 2010.
Operated and managed by Airport Authority Hong Kong, a statutory corporation wholly owned by the Hong Kong SAR Government, HKIA is transforming into a dynamic Airport City, with SKYTOPIA at its heart. The SKYTOPIA development will provide an exciting mix of commercial ventures, popular culture, art storage and trading, yachting, and premier entertainment and leisure experiences. It will be a destination in itself, attracting visitors from Hong Kong, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay, Asia and beyond.
By seamlessly integrating core airport functions with synergistic business segments, the Airport City aims to become a world-class landmark driving economic growth of Hong Kong and the broader region.
