FLS Thailand successfully transports catamaran to Cairns

A large ship uses a crane to lift a blue and white catamaran from the water. Several crew members in orange suits stand on the deck. Calm water and distant hills are visible in the background.

FLS Projects in Thailand loaded, secured and delivered an 45 ton Aluminum Catamaran from Sattahip, Thailand to Cairns, Australia.
The main challenges of loading and securing the 25 meters long Catamaran was the uneven keel which required dunnage wood to achieve levels stowage on deck.
FLS Projects also used divers to ensure correct placing of slings around the hull to prevent any damage while lifting the Catamaran.
At the destination the Catamaran will be used as an excursion boat for the great barrier reef.
