The new Swan 80 and Swan 128-002 will take centre stage at Europe’s most prestigious yachting events, showcasing Nautor Swan’s craftsmanship, performance and design evolution during the year of the Finnish shipyard’s 60th anniversary, which will culminate with the Rolex Swan Cup in Porto Cervo.
The autumn boat shows will also mark the first public appearance of Nautor Swan’s new CEO, Gianguido Girotti, who joined the company in June.

Swan 80: The Essence of Maxi
Making her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September, the brand-new Swan 80 will be exhibited in Port Canto alongside the highly successful Swan 58, which continues to achieve record numbers of launches.
The Swan 80 represents both continuity and evolution. She draws inspiration from a proud lineage of ocean-going Swan 80s that have raced, cruised and circumnavigated the globe, while defining a completely new generation of Maxi yachts. Positioned as the entry point into the Swan Maxi range, she translates true Maxi capability into a more versatile and owner-friendly format. Remaining just under 24 metres in length, the Swan 80 delivers the volume, presence and offshore capability of a significantly larger yacht, with a rare balance of exceptional sailing performance, regulatory simplicity and long-range cruising confidence.
The yacht combines the unmistakable naval architecture of Germán Frers with exterior styling by Lucio Micheletti and interiors by Misa Poggi. The result is a yacht that is both powerful and elegant, sharing the distinctive Swan Maxi DNA already established by the Swan 88, Swan 108 and Swan 128, now interpreted in a more agile and accessible size.
Clean proportions, a low-profile coachroof and an uninterrupted flush deck create an unmistakable sense of motion even when at anchor. Below deck, flexibility is the guiding principle. The interior can be configured for comfortable cruising, guest-oriented layouts or spacious social living areas, reflecting the evolving lifestyle of today’s yacht owners.
Swan 58: Bluewater Independence
The Swan 58 represents a new generation of bluewater cruising from Nautor Swan, blending offshore capability, refined comfort and exhilarating sailing performance. Designed by naval architect Germán Frers, the Swan 58 embodies the brand’s enduring philosophy of combining purpose and beauty, resulting in a yacht that is as rewarding on long ocean passages as it is during relaxed coastal cruising.
Conceived as a true bluewater yacht, the Swan 58 has been developed for owners who seek independence, reliability and confidence at sea without compromising on sailing pleasure. Her powerful yet balanced hull form, twin-rudder configuration and thoughtfully engineered deck layout deliver responsive handling, exceptional stability and effortless short-handed sailing.
Swan 128: A Masterpiece of Maxi Sailing
At the Monaco Yacht Show, from 23 to 26 September, all eyes will be on the Swan 128-002 Raijin. Designed by Germán Frers, with exterior styling by Micheletti + Partners and interiors by Misa Poggi, the Swan 128 completes Nautor Swan’s Maxi family alongside the Swan 80, 88 and 108.
Its semi-raised saloon architecture creates an elegant superstructure profile while maximising interior volume. Featuring fully customisable owner’s quarters and a hull engineered for serious bluewater sailing, the Swan 128 has been designed to deliver exceptional performance without compromising comfort. The second hull, Raijin, named after the Japanese god of thunder, lightning and storms, represents the pinnacle of Nautor Swan’s production, establishing a new benchmark in technology, sustainability and design.
Dual Energy Technology
Compared with the first hull, Be Cool, Raijin introduces significant innovations in propulsion and onboard energy management, and a different interior styling. At the heart of the yacht is the new Dual Energy Technology, developed in collaboration with Danfoss. Designed to maximise sailing self-sufficiency, the system optimises onboard energy production and consumption while significantly reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
While sailing, the yacht regenerates electricity that can be stored and later used both for propulsion and hotel loads, reducing, and in many situations eliminating, the need to run generators while at anchor.
The propulsion package includes a main electric motor with a variable-pitch propeller, two 130 kW Cummins generators and a 30 kW Fischer Panda generator. Through regenerative sailing, the yacht can produce between 30 and 50 kW of electrical power, while a 189 kWh battery bank provides up to eight hours of completely silent operation with all onboard systems running.
Where the first Swan 128 featured teak interiors, Raijin introduces an elegant palette based on crown-cut matte oak, complemented by warm white ash panels and natural rattan inserts. Upholstered details with classic pinstripes, together with colours inspired by sky blues and sunlit ochres, create a refined yet contemporary atmosphere on board. The interior has been developed through the collaboration of architect Misa Poggi, architect Antonie Bertherat and Heini Gustafsson from Nautor Swan’s interior design team.
Rolex Swan Cup: Celebrating Sixty Years of Swan
Between the two autumn boat shows, the international Swan fleet will gather in Porto Cervo for a special edition of the Rolex Swan Cup, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Finnish shipyard. More than 150 Swan yachts, representing every generation and size, are expected to compete, while owners and guests from around the world will come together for what promises to be one of the largest celebrations in the brand’s history.
The fleet will include the new Swan 80, both Swan 128s and some of the very first Swans ever built, showcasing six decades of design evolution and highlighting the enduring spirit of the Swan family.
