Singapore had a strong presence around Monaco Yacht Show 2026, with the Singapore Boating Industry Association (SBIA) and Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) using the week to connect Singapore businesses with the international superyacht community, and to bring more of that community back to Singapore.
The week started at APSA’s 15th Anniversary Asia-Pacific Superyacht Night, where ONE°15 Events / SBIA joined as Platinum Sponsor. More than 250 guests attended from across Asia-Pacific and the international superyacht industry. SBIA Chairman Arthur Tay also addressed the evening with a simple message: Asia-Pacific has much more to gain by working together. With so many cruising destinations, marinas, associations and marine businesses spread across the region, greater cooperation can make Asia-Pacific easier to navigate and more attractive to owners, captains and the wider international industry.

Putting Singapore in the Conversation
SBIA’s dedicated Superyachts Cluster, led by Simone Centola, arranged meetings for Singapore members with international businesses and organisations, including the Monaco Yachting Cluster. The aim wasn’t simply to promote Singapore. It was to get Singapore businesses around the table, understand what other markets are doing and find practical areas where the industry can work together. Singapore already has a significant commercial maritime industry, a growing leisure marine sector and Southeast Asia on its doorstep. Connecting those capabilities more closely with the international superyacht world is becoming an increasing focus for SBIA.

Monaco to Singapore
Monaco Yacht Show 2026 was one of SYF’s most productive editions to date, with several world-leading superyacht brands confirming plans to sponsor and exhibit at SYF 2027, from 22–25 April at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. That is giving the 2027 Festival an opportunity to do more with the superyacht sector. Rather than simply adding more superyacht brands to the show, the aim is to create a stronger meeting point in Singapore for the international industry and the wider Asia-Pacific market, from builders and brokers to associations, destinations and businesses supporting yachts throughout the region.
