International brokers and industry leaders joined a familiarisation tour hosted by the Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef and Tourism & Events Queensland. Delegates from Asia, Europe and the Middle East visited Cairns marinas, cruised the Great Barrier Reef, explored ancient rainforests and outback tablelands and met local stakeholders. They praised Cairns as a ‘perfect home port’ with world‑class facilities, hospitality and proximity to natural wonders. The event aimed to showcase Far North Queensland’s infrastructure and boost superyacht visitation, which already supports over 1 100 jobs and injects more than A$103 million into the local economy.
