Once again, the Monaco Yacht Show has reaffirmed its status as the world's premier superyacht event, further solidifying its role as an ambassador of Monaco, the capital of yachting. APSA was proud to host its annual Asia Superyacht Night which saw more than 250 APSA members and guests attending. The growing popularity of this event over the last three years shows how importance this networking opportunity is for the Asia-Pacific superyacht community.
Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) Boat Show– Festa Nautica 2024 commenced on a high note, captivating attendees with its grand opening ceremony held on 25 October. With visitors flocking to the event, joining the celebration of yachting excellence and luxury maritime lifestyle.

Hot on the heels of rolling out its new Safety Management System for yacht and superyacht owners, independent professional services group Praxis has launched a new suite of solutions for yacht ownership, management and crew services. Praxis Select offers three distinct products – LITE, Classic and Enhanced – that have each been designed to provide efficiencies for private and commercial yachts under 500-gross-tons while maintaining a tailored approach for each vessel.
Sanlorenzo recently unveiled the LIFE MYSTIC* (Methanol for Yachting Sustainable energy Transition applied to Internal Combustion engines) project, realised in collaboration with Nanni Industries and Ranieri Tonissi, for the realisation of the first green methanol bi-fuel superyacht that will see the light by 2027. Co-funded by the EU, the project will last 54 months and involve a total investment of over €4.8 million.
Benetti will be at the FLIBS with M/Y Abbentures², the Diamond 44M unit making her debut on the American market, along with the Oasis 34M M/Y Grateful. The Diamond 44M, specifically M/Y Abbentures², is the fibreglass flagship in the Class family, with exterior styling by Cassetta Yacht Designers and interiors by Benetti.
The 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is almost upon us, and Horizon Yacht USA is gearing up to make a splash with an impressive line-up of luxury vessels. In the spotlight from 30 October to 03 November 3rd will be four exquisite models at the Face Dock, Slips 600-606, a prime and familiar location for visitors to Horizon’s display, which is poised to be one of the most exciting yet.
Angela Pennefather, founder of Melanesian Luxury Yachts, and Sarah Toxward have joined forces and purchased Carter Marine Agencies in Australia. Melanesian Luxury Yachts, a boutique yacht agency founded by Angela Pennefather well-known for providing exceptional marine services in the Pacific, will be based in Cairns alongside Tina Flecknoe to facilitate the transition and ensure ongoing client support.
Ferretti Group is aiming to capture the hearts of visitors to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with a fleet of ten yachts expressing the ultimate in innovation, luxury and unmistakable Italian know-how. The event, held from 30 October 03 November, is one of the world’s most influential boat shows, attracting enthusiasts and professionals from every continent.
The Cluster Yachting Monaco held its annual Winter Pop-Up, a landmark event that brought together professionals from across the industry and a fleet of yachts moored in the YCM Marina presented by companies including Ocean Independence, Fraser Yachts and Althaus Yachting. Yachting stakeholders and visitors were able to visit the boats on display before discussing the thorny issue of ‘Charting safety, responsibility and media influence’.
'Thailand International Boat Show - A Luxury Lifestyle Event' will take place at Phuket Yacht Haven from 09-12 January 2025. Up at the top end of the island, Phuket Yacht Haven is the island’s largest marina (332 berths) and can accommodate yachts of all sizes up to 100+ metres. The move aligns with the organisers’ plans to expand the show and welcome more boats, larger boats and superyachts.
ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore is set to host the third edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF), 10-13 April 2025. Anticipating close to 13,000 visitors, SYF 2025 will boast a significant increase in exhibition and festival space, incorporating new elements including a 1,000+ sqm land-based exhibition hall, a dedicated superyacht zone, and more on-water leisure marine for the active participation of visitors.

The 4th Edition of the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous concluded after two intense days of conferences, networking, workshops and presentations. Organized by Monaco Marina Management (M3), the event brought together over 250 professionals from the maritime industry, as well as numerous investors from around the world who came to meet innovators. Their shared goal is to modernize and make maritime infrastructure more sustainable. This event demonstrates how sustainability is becoming a true driver of change. A selection of 20 start-ups and scale-ups, along with ten architectural firms and a dozen marinas were present.
The first sailing yacht in Wally’s new wallywind collection, Galma, debuted at Monaco Yacht Show 2024 (25-28 September). The jaw-dropping wallywind110 is the largest to have been delivered since the Ferretti Group took the helm at Wally, and she is evidence of the company’s commitment to sailing with a second hull already in build. “Ever since Wally came into the universe of Ferretti Group, it has carried on being Wally,” explains Avv. Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group Chief Executive Officer.
