Superyacht Australia proudly reports the success of its Australia Thailand Rendezvous event held in Phuket, Thailand, marking an important return to engaging with South East Asia since the last event in February 2020. Departing on January 6th, an international fleet of 25 boats ranging from 34ft to 76ft, carrying 80 crews from various countries including the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, United States, Italy, Spain, Canada, Norway, Denmark, Ireland, and Latvia, set sail for the Cape Verde Islands. Following a stop at Marina Mindelo, the fleet undertook a journey of over 2000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean.

January was a busy month, with APSA’s involvement in the inaugural Thailand Yachting Conference and our attendance at the Thailand International Boat Show in Phuket. It was great to finally catch up with our APSA members in Thailand, and ASPA looks forward to growing the superyacht community in Asia in 2024.
