January has been an exceptionally busy month, involving two New Year Celebrations! Beran Island has been a hive of activity at the start of 2025. Reo Stevens coaching has been hosting a private island group of wind sports enthusiasts. The Southeast Asia Yachting Conference 2025 (SEA Yachting Conference 2025) is set to return, offering a world-class platform to discuss the unique challenges and advantages in the yachting industry across Southeast Asia. ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore is set to host the third edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) from 10 – 13 April 2025. Paolo Vitelli, founder of the Azimut-Benetti Group, passed away following an accident at his home in Val d'Aosta on 31 December 2024. Vitelli was born in Turin in 1947, and graduated with a degree in Economics and Business in 1970. While still a student, he used the proceeds of a nightclub venture to finance the start-up of Azimut, subcontracting the construction of "economical but reliable" boats.
