Alfa Nero, Leona, and Moca attracted considerable attention when they arrived all together at the Aganlar Shipyard in Bodrum, Turkey. The Fema Marine team has had a busy schedule with surveys and specialist refit project management and equipment supply.  Working across a range of shipyards and manufacturers Fema Marine have overseen the complex refit and repair programmes for two major projects the include an extensive refit of the 72-metre Dunya superyacht Axioma and oversaw the drydock maintenance programme of Alfa Nero.

As the Mediterranean cruising season draws to a close, the Monaco Yacht Show offers more than a showcase of the world’s finest vessels. It is also a natural point in the calendar for owners, family offices and yacht managers to pause and reflect. With winter yard periods approaching and plans taking shape for the season ahead, now is the ideal time to review insurance arrangements confirm that cover is fit for purpose, and address any gaps that may have emerged over the summer.

Development Indonesia (MDI), in partnership with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia, has successfully installed the first four concrete floating pontoons at Bali Benoa Marina on 21 June 2025. This milestone marks the beginning of the marina’s water-based infrastructure phase. The installation, led by SF Marina with technical supervision from MDI, was witnessed by representatives from the Ministry of Transportation and PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia.

The Pershing 140 superyacht ARINA, a breathtaking 43.3-metre motor yacht launched in 2024, will be prominently showcased by YACHTZOO at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025. Representing the fourth and final build of the prestigious Pershing 140 series, ARINA perfectly marries sporty aggression with luxury and cutting-edge marine engineering. Designed by Fulvio De Simoni with naval architecture by Pershing’s in-house Ferretti Engineering Department, ARINA is defined by her sleek aluminium deep-vee hull and distinctive side wings.

With the new Grande Trideck, Azimut charts a bold and original course for its flagship superyacht. While the sleek, sculptural elegance of Alberto Mancini’s exteriors remains a defining signature, the visionary duo at m2atelier introduces a new design language that marks the beginning of a new creative direction for the Grande Series, with two further models set to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

A recently co-organised roundtable, themed ‘Yachting Tourism and the Yachting Economy’ was held in Hong Kong. It saw Government officials and marine industry experts gathered to discuss the further development of yacht tourism in Hong Kong and the positive impact it could have on the local economy. Ms. Rosanna Law (JP, Secretary, Culture, Sports, and Tourism), Dr. Peter Lam (Chairman, Hong Kong Tourism Board), Hon. Lo Wai Kwok (Chairman, Business and Professional Alliance for Hong Kong) were in attendance, alongside members of industry associations and yachting experts.

As the Asia-Pacific yachting market gains global prominence, SYF 2026 is evolving to reflect the region’s rising influence—not just as a growth market, but as a strategic buying centre and a vital bridge connecting global yacht manufacturers with Asia’s investors, dealers, and owners.

The Yacht Racing Forum is delighted to announce SailGP, the most exciting racing on water, as an official event partner for its 2025 edition, taking place in Amsterdam on November 20–21. Now in its fifth year, the Australia Fiji Rendezvous brought 17 Australian and South Pacific marine representatives to Vuda Marina and Port Denarau Marina on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 August 2025 to connect with captains and crew from vessels cruising Fiji. Over two busy days the Rendezvous delivered valuable updates on Australia’s world-class marine infrastructure, from marinas, shipbuilding, refit and maintenance facilities to service providers and cruising routes along the vast coastline.
